Our Destinations:

Why Golf Europe?

Like skiing, golf traces its origins and history back to Europe. Scotland, to be precise, around 1457. Some historians believe golf began during Roman times where they played Paganica – using a bent stick and a stuffed leather ball. In any event, the sport has evolved dramatically over the past five centuries and Europe is no exception. From wind swept links courses on the Atlantic coast to creatively designed tracks tucked into mountain meadows and dense forests. Golfing in Europe will hone your short game and instill creativity. When 4X PGA Major Champion Brooks Koepka unsuccessfully missed securing his Tour Card at Q-school in 2012, he headed to Europe – where he won four times and came back to the PGA Tour in 2014. “It was the most fun I ever had playing golf,” said Koepka, “We went to places I grew up studying and always wanted to go see.”

Unlike anywhere else in the world, the melding of ultra-modern architecture and 400-year-old mountain huts. Some of these engineering marvels at the top of the mountain have been used as the backdrop for numerous James Bond movies!

Central European golf courses are insanely beautiful and tight! Where else can you golf next to glittering alpine lakes, stately castles, lush meadows, dense forests and centuries old vineyards?

Golf in central European countries is more affordable and less crowded than some of our more famous golf resorts in the USA. Golf in America is widely considered exclusive, whereas golf in Europe is inclusive.

Due to the lack of available land, European golf courses tend to be slightly shorter and tighter than their American counterparts. Games focus more on skill shots vs. bombing a long fairway.

Scenery that is literally breathtaking from the mountains, to the forests, to the seaside. How many of your friends can say, “I played golf in the Dolomites, the Austrian and Swiss Alps, the Canary Islands or Portugal?”

Since most on-mountain restaurants are independently owned, the dining options are incredible. The majority of food options are always fresh and mostly organic. And customer service is paramount!

Health and wellness is a primary focus in the majority of European golf resorts. You’ll experience incredible farm to table cuisine, cutting edge spa and fitness facilities and fantastic customer service.
