Reside in French chateaux, dine on magnificent cuisine, golf each morning,
wine tasting in the afternoon, yachting excursion on the seaside and
absolutely everything included? Ok, I’m in!!

Vines, Vines, & Vines!

Bordeaux is regarded as the largest and most prestigious wine region in the World, with its castles and vineyards adorning the hillsides and plains of the Gironde. As Lonely Planet’s “World’s Best City 2017,” Bordeaux has over 350 historic monuments, a rich food & wine culture, and stunning scenery to make this a top international golf destination.

Chateau Prieuré Marquet

Located northeast of Bordeaux, near Saint Emilion, this elegant chartreuse fifteenth century castle stands at the end of a majestic driveway lined with hundred-year-old trees. Overlooking its vineyards, the Chateau Prieuré Marquet welcomes you in an exceptional setting. You will enjoy tranquility, refinement and quality of its attentive service.

Bon Apetit!

In addition to great wines, Bordeaux is also renowned for its cuisine – which is an essential part of local culture. Gastronomy is inseparable from Bordeaux's unique art de vivre. Blessed by the richness of its vineyards and enjoying proximity to the ocean, Arcachon Bay, and the estuary, Bordeaux is one of France's culinary havens – from Cap Ferret oysters to Cream Puff Pastries.

Golf in France

When it comes to pastimes, the French have a habit of doing things well, and golf is no exception. 11 World class golf courses are interspersed among the thousands of wine-producing châteaux of the Gironde. From the Left-bank, Right-bank & Entre-deux-Mers, there is an array of landscapes from the coastal dunes of the Atlantic, to pines and lakes of the Médoc, and onto the rolling vines and forested hills of St Emilion.

Chateau Malescasse

Located in Lamarque, between Margaux and Saint-Julien, the Château Malescasse was built in 1824 in the purest neo-classical style of the age. Just over a decade ago, the vineyard was comprehensively restructured and the stunning manor house renovated and upgraded. Today, Château Malescasse is one of the domaines which set the standard for Haut-Médoc and received the label “Exceptionnel of the Cru Bourgeois” ranking.

Activities Galore

Golf and wine tasting in Bordeaux are two fantastic activities, but what if you want to take a break from swinging and sipping? In Bordeaux, life happens in and around incredible historic architecture, with wonderful shops and amazing street markets. The Bay of Arcachon is a gem at the Atlantic Ocean where you can take an oyster cruise and climb to picnic on Europe’s highest and most spectacular sand dune.
