Kristin Krone

Olympian Ski Coach

Kristin Krone was an American Downhill Ski Racer, 2-time Olympian, 6-time National Champion and NCAA All-American for the University of Wyoming. She began skiing at Squaw Valley / Alpine Meadows and was an eight-year veteran of the U.S. Ski Team, and a member of two World Championship teams. After retiring from the National Team, Kristin remained active in the ski world by hosting corporate VIP events in the USA and Europe, fundraising events for the Squaw Valley Ski Club and charity ski events for the Jimmy Heuga Foundation. Currently, Kristin is the owner of Wild Cherries Coffee House and Bakery in Truckee, California and is mom to Lily, age 19, who studies at University of Amsterdam and Kilian, age 17, a goalie at the Red Bull Soccer Academy in Salzburg, Austria. An avid alpine, nordic and backcountry ski tourer, Kristin lives in both Salzburg and Truckee.
