Yoga Teacher / Wellness Expert
Brienne is a wellness designer, yoga enthusiast and serial entrepreneur devoted to promoting self-care and sustainable living. After moving to Oregon, at the age of seventeen, Brienne turned to yoga as potent medicine to heal from losing her dad to cancer. She has now been immersed in the expansive art of yoga for over two decades.
First fascinated with the powerful and ancient practice of Ashtanga Yoga, Brienne later formalized her training with Tiffany Cruikshank of Medicine Yoga and attained her 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga teaching certification. More recently, she expanded her education to include certifications in Aerial Yoga and Gentle Aerial Yoga from The Yoga School in Cambell, CA.
Over the past twenty years, Brienne has evolved her focus to integrate the subtle yet powerful energies of breathwork, meditation and Ayurveda. As someone actively managing an auto-immune disease and chronic joint pain, she teaches her breath-centered classes with careful attention to achieving pain relief, proper alignment and long-term joint health. Brienne refuses to let her ailments limit her enjoyment of life; she instead embraces the power of personal transformation through regular self-care.
Brienne believes that a proper self-care practice should be bespoke, carefully designed to fit each individual, and ever adapting as life unfolds. In her teaching, she aims to share principles of health and wellness in easily-digestible and functional pieces that integrate well with busy schedules.
