We recommend all our guests fly directly into the Innsbruck airport – which is only 45 minutes away from the hotel. You should plan to arrive by midday on Saturday – which will give you time to check in, unpack and get ready for skiing the next day. Please make sure to give us your flight details so we can arrange transportation from the airport to the Alpenrose / Cocoon Spa Resort. We will also arrange transportation back to the airport the following Saturday.
Booking and Cancellation Policy
RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS and FINAL PAYMENT
A deposit of 50% of the trip cost is required, on a per person basis, at the time of booking any Alpin Luxe trip. The initial deposit confirms your acceptance of Alpin Luxe LC’s terms and conditions. This deposit constitutes a tentative reservation, which becomes confirmed only upon receipt of full payment, which is due 75 days prior to departure. You will be sent an email reminder that Final Payment is due 75 days prior to the first day of your scheduled trip. Payments can be made via Bank Wire transfers or our Alpin Luxe online payment poral. Reservations may be cancelled if we have not received full payment by the due date. Last minute reservations 75 days or less prior to the scheduled trip must pay in full upon making a reservation.
If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your reservation, we require notice in writing. If we receive a cancellation notice more than six months prior to the trip departure date, all the money on deposit will be refunded less $1,000.00 per person. If we receive a cancellation notice less than six months prior to the trip departure date, the entire deposit is non-refundable. If we receive a cancellation notice less than 75 days prior to the trip departure date, all monies paid on account are non-refundable. Monies on deposit will not be carried forward to future seasons. This cancellation policy does not apply for last minute clients. Last minute clients are required to pay in full at the time of making the reservation.
Refunds (Ski, Golf and MTB Trips):
All our trips begin and end on specific days. No refund is given, in whole or in part, for un-used days or transportation, resulting from late arrival, early departure or for any other reason. Likewise, there are no refunds given for bad weather that prevents us from skiing, golfing or biking on any given day.
Refunds (Heliski Trips):
All our trips begin and end on specific days. No refund is given, in whole or in part, for un-used days or transportation, resulting from late arrival, early departure or for any other reason. Likewise, there are no refunds given for bad weather or helicopter breakdowns that prevents us from skiing or biking on any given day. Alpin Luxe and their Heliski partner, HSG, guarantees eight runs per day; the runs vary from 700 to 1,200 vertical meters with the run and conditions dictating the vertical of each individual run. HSG will refund $45.00 per un-skied run. No refund on runs will be given if you decide not to ski one day (or days), sit out a run, or come back earlier, regardless of the reason. You may transfer to another trip without penalty up to 90 days before departure. If you transfer from one trip to another within 89 days of departure, however, you are subject to the usual Cancellation Fees. Alpin Luxe and HSG highly recommends you purchase AIG Travel Guard travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, evacuation and medical. The flying time hours given for the trip are more than enough to make the guaranteed runs in the designated heliski areas. HSG does not charge for extra runs, only extra flying time. If the group decides to take advantage of an exceptional day or days and ski more runs than the daily quota, it’s possible, although this normally means it will use up the flying time hours allotted for our guaranteed heliski trip. Should this issue come up, extra hours may be needed to compete the week. Also, should the group want to go into areas outside the designated area and due to this it exceeds the flying time given for the week, the guarantee on runs and hours for the week will be non-valid. All extra hours must be paid in cash before extra flying time is allowed. Extra flying time is $2,800.00 per hour. Any trip discounts given will be deducted from the guaranteed runs should the situation arise.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Alpin Luxe, LC reserves the right to cancel any scheduled trip at any time if the minimum quote of four (4) persons is not met. All rates are quoted in USD and are subject to change without notice. The reservation and cancellation policies used by Alpin Luxe LC are standard in the travel industry. The nature of our business is such that our commitments must be made well in advance of your skiing, golfing and/or biking with us.
Alpin Luxe LC strongly recommends that you take out travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances including travel cancellation due to inclement weather, natural disaster and personal circumstances, as we do not accept any liability for any costs you may incur. We recommend AIG’s TRAVEL GUARD Insurance (Gold Package). This insurance should cover your trip if you become ill or injured before and during the trip, and other valid reasons for not being able to come on the trip. The insurance should also cover your trip in case Alpin Luxe LC has to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control, such as no snow, severe avalanche conditions, bad weather, helicopter problems, strikes, etc. And, since our initial 50% Deposit is Non-Refundable, so at the very least, you should insure this initial deposit and your airline ticket, especially if it’s a non-refundable ticket. I t is suggested you get 100% coverage in case the cancellation is on your behalf, as the entire deposit for the trip is non-refundable 75 days prior to departure. The TRAVEL GUARD insurance policies may also include lost luggage and personal injury. You can either purchase this insurance from your travel agent or through our online payment portal. Alpin Luxe LC does not carry health, life or injury insurance for our customers who ski, golf, ride or hike. It is required that you carry your own personal health & injury insurance and you provide proof of this before starting the trip. Alpin Luxe LC requires you carry insurance for life and health care risks. Beware! Most domestic health insurance policies DO NOT cover injuries in foreign countries. Again, we recommend AIG’s TRAVEL GUARD Insurance as they do have an adventure travel policy.
Emergency Evacuation Insurance:
In the case of injury to skiers, mountain bikers and hikers, helicopter ambulance expenses will be charged to the injured party. We recommend that everyone carry evacuation insurance. Another great option for Emergency Evacuation Insurance is Global Rescue: www.globalrescue.com
Personal Property Insurance:
We also recommend that your personal belongings be insured against loss. Lost luggage on a trip overseas is a real bummer. Your homeowner’s insurance may not cover the loss. Your AIG TRAVEL GUARD trip insurance policy will cover lost luggage and/or stolen property.
