Irene Curtoni

Olympian Ski Coach

Irene Curtoni is a French born, former Italian alpine ski racer from Isera, Italy, in the Trentino Valley. A member of the powerful Italian Ski Team for 14 seasons, Irene amassed an incredible 194 Ski World Cup starts, earning 2 podiums and 32 “Top 10” finishes throughout her illustrious career. Irene specialized in the tech events (slalom and giant slalom), where she won 7 National Championship titles and a bronze medal at the 2019 World Championships. As with most ski racers, Irene was a multi-sport athlete competing in basketball, gymnastics and swimming. In 2021, she announced her retirement from competitive skiing to focus on writing and commentating for Swiss-Italian TV. We embrace Irene’s mantra of “once an athlete, always an athlete” – which allows her to share her love of skiing and athletic wisdom with everyone she meets.
