Bormio, Italy MTB & E-Bike Experience

Bormio is a medieval town located in the alpine province of Valtellina in the northeast corner of Italy next to Switzerland and Austria. Ancient history depicts Roman aristocracy, Napoleon, Leonardo da Vinci and Ernest Hemingway traveling to Bormio for wine, relaxation and spa treatments that include a wide array of geothermal baths carved into the mountainside.

From technical singletrack to rolling pastoral roads, there is terrain to challenge cyclists of any level!
Staying at the Rini is a true bike-in, bike-out experience! Adventure awaits right outside the front door.

Surrounded by the Stelvio National Park, Bormio is a relatively unknown treasure within one of Europe’s largest nature reserves. Thanks to the famous Stelvio Pass, everything in and around Bormio revolves around cycling. Each day after a nice breakfast and a couple espressos, we begin exploring the hundreds of kilometers of scenic mountain bike trails that are both challenging and flowing for all ability levels.

Steeped in cycling culture, the iconic Stelvio Pass should be on every bike enthusaist's bucket list.
Centuries-old roman baths provide the ultimate recovery and relaxation.

After a great day on the bike, we head over to the Bagni Vecci Spa Hotel in Bormio to recover our bodies and minds in the ancient thermal baths that run throughout the mountain. There are 30 different thermal baths and caves in 6 zones – some renowned since the 1st century BC! Every rider will get the chance to experience and appreciate how professional athletes prepare and restore their bodies after a long day of physical and mental activity.

Accommodations for the week are at Agritourismo Rini – a unique and cozy farm property that is a paradise for cyclists, skiers and connoisseurs of “farm-to-table” gastronomy. All of the Rini’s rooms are designed to provide a warm and cozy atmosphere with breathtaking views of the Stelvio National Park. With a philosophy of well-being that the palate (as well as the spirit) be satisfied, the Rini’s expert chefs prepare local cuisine with a love of the territory and attention to flavors. Their specialties originate from the Alpine tradition, using carefully selected local ingredients.

The warm and homey rooms of the Rini provide a perfect rest haven after long rides.
Friendly faces to keep you company during a sumptuous farm-to-table breakfast buffet.
Spend a day in pastoral bliss at the Rini’s beautiful farm, the Malga Trella.
Experience food as art through the finest of locally-sourced cuisine.

Brandon Cross, our Professional Mountain Bike Coach, and Gary Miller, Olympic Alpine Ski Coach will be your hosts. Brandon will focus on developing your riding skills and Gary will focus on physical fitness preparation and recovery, specifically as it relates to mountain biking.
